intro
One of the most quintessential venues in NYC, right in the heart of midtown. Catch the legendary marquee sign on your way into the Art Deco-inspired theater, which is beautiful on the inside and has great sound.
history
Constructed as part of the Rockefeller Center complex, Radio City Music Hall opened in 1932. For the next four decades, it acted mostly as a movie house. In the late 70’s, despite having over 200,000 visitors to that point, the Hall went into debt and nearly went bankrupt. Fortunately, it survived, and remains to be one of the most legendary and beautiful live performance venues in NYC.
